The Story Behind The Song
“We Belong” is an anthem for humanity.
Composed by Evan Klassen in partnership with Music Producer Andrew Dawson and Executive Producer Katana Natasha Alexander, the song’s full expression will culminate as a collaboration with musicians of all ages from around the world.
Having grown up as the middle child of nine in a war-torn region of Central Asia, Klassen learned that there is fragility in division and strength in solidarity. He witnessed firsthand how even the smallest acts of kindness and goodwill have the power to turn hostility into peace and fear into love. “We Belong” is the fruit that has been gleaned from his observations and experiences.
